Last week, we had the opportunity to attend the WS24 in Málaga, Spain, hosted by IFES. Among the various workshops and seminars, one particular session stood out: a workshop on education where young professionals discussed a critical issue—the lack of onboarding in the events and exhibitions sector. This gap prevents many young individuals from considering this industry as a viable career path post-university.

The events and exhibitions sector, including project management of events and stands, offers a dynamic and rewarding career. However, many young professionals feel disconnected from this industry due to insufficient onboarding processes.
